PHP-GTK Community : a community site for PHP-GTK

CairoForPHP is an application that demonstrates several functions of the Cairo implementation for PHP. It uses a technique with which, from the same source, it can run both as a desktop application with PHP-GTK and as a web application in a webserver, thus demonstrating how PHP-GTK can be used as "just one" method of output and integrated into multi-platform, multi-environment applications.

PHP-Editor is a program developed in Php-Gtk using Glade and GtkBuilder.

I need to develop a desktop widget which needs to be run in the silent mode. This widget (application) needs to continuously synchronize data from the parent website. We were trying to develop this using PHP-GTK but are unable to come up with an appropriate solution.

The desktop widget needs to show the user real time updates made on the website similar to real player widget. So I need support to understand how to make this widget in silent mode and to show the real time updates.
