Unable to load php_gtk.so on Mac OS X 10.5

I have used the .dmg file provided by Anant in http://php-gtk.eu/install-phpgtk-2-on-macos-x for the installation of php-gtk on MacBook [Mac OS X 10.5]. It has been successfully installed at /usr/local/php-gtk/ location.
Now the problem is that whenever I try to compile (execute) a .php file, I get an error as follows:

Warning: dl(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/php_gtk.so' - (null)

I have also checked my php.ini and I can file the extension for php-gtk there and it is pointing to '/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/php_gtk.so'

Please suggest where is the problem what should I try?
