The numbers represent the page hits served from the CMS used (Drupal). Not included:

• Static hits : files like CSS pages or static images
• RSS feed hits, about 12% of the total dynamic hits during 2009Q2
• Login and registration pages, which are massive spamming targets and therefore not very representative

The graph is generated dynamically using GD2.

But you'd rather do a PHP-GTK UI, wouldn't you ? For this, you can use the site XML-RPC API function access_stats. So go ahead, and submit your PHP-GTK graphing function using these stats !
